Orla is Managing Director of Certa Ireland. Orla previously served as Commercial Director. Prior to joining Certa, Orla has held senior roles in SSE Airtricity, Vodafone, o2 and Bank of Ireland. A graduate of Dublin City University, Orla holds post-graduate qualifications in Org Change and Leadership.

David is Finance Director for Certa Ireland. He’s worked in oil distribution since 2008 having worked as Head of Finance for Campus Oil. David has played a pivotal role in delivering signficiant growth for the group over the past decade, helping us become the largest oil distributor in Ireland.

Originally from Dublin, living in Cork for over a decade, having spent time in Galway and New Jersey earlier in his career. Diarmuid completed a Masters in Marketing in the UCD Smurfit School of Business.


Following his studies Diarmuid began his career in media sales including some challenging senior commercial roles in UTV, The Star Newspaper, Today FM and more recently as CEO of Cork’s RedFM for over 10 years.

Brian joined the group in 1998 as IT Manager for Emo Oil. Over a 24-year period, he’s held a variety of business support roles including Head of Business Support Services and Head of Compliance. Brian is also the Company Secretary for Certa. Prior to joining the company, he was a member of the Permanent Defence Forces of Ireland, serving with the United Nations.

Anne was appointed HSE & Facilities Director for Certa in June 2021 having previously joined the company in November 2020 as Snr HSE manager. Anne is responsible for the environmental health and safety aspects of activities as well as ensuring that our facilities are maintained and fit for purpose. Prior to joining Certa, Anne worked for the recycling and resource recovery solutions business, Enva where she was Group HSE manager.  

Cormac is Director of Operations. He has spent over twenty years working in logistics and operational management roles in categories including FMCG Food, Fashion and Healthcare Distribution. He holds a Masters Degree in Supply Chain Management and has lectured and mentored MSc students in Transport, Warehousing and Distribution.
John is Retail Manager for Certa fuel forecourts . Over the past 13 years he has worked in a myriad of roles within dealer-owned and company-owned retail market segments. Prior to joining the company, John spent 2 years with the NRA working in planning and financial roles; and 24 years at Shell UK and Ireland, working as Retail Network Planner for Scotland, North England and Ireland.

Bill joined DCC in January 2020, having previously spent 20 years at BP – Castrol in a variety of Sales and Key Account Management roles across a range of sectors. Prior to joining BP – Castrol, Bill spent ten years with Coca-Cola Bottlers Ireland in various Sales and Marketing Management positions and have extensive experience in commercial negotiation and business transformation.

With experience working with over 100 companies, Michelle is a seasoned HR consultant and former HR Director who specialises in supporting organisations across the full employee lifecycle—from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management, employee relations, and strategic workforce planning. She brings deep expertise in shaping HR strategies that align with business goals, enhancing employee engagement, and driving cultural change.

Michelle holds a Master’s in HR Strategies, is a certified mediator, a licensed Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner, and holds an advanced diploma in Employment Law. Known for her practical, people-first approach, she partners with leadership teams to build inclusive, high-performing workplaces where employees feel valued and supported. Her work is grounded in integrity, collaboration, and a strong understanding of both operational and strategic HR priorities.
