Christmas is a busy time of the year, with most of us welcoming guests into our home during the festive period. Whether distant cousins, grandparents or children return to the family home, they will all expect to  be housed, entertained and fed during their stay.

And before they arrive on your doorstep, there may be a few extra chores to do around the house.

You could also make some meals before your guests arrive and freeze them so you can just pop them in the oven when needed. Have Some Activities Prepared

Depending on how long your guests are staying, you may need to plan some activities to keep everyone entertained. There is nothing worse than hearing ‘What are we doing today?’ and not having any clue what to do. Make Sure There Is Enough Room for Everyone

Finally, spending Christmas together means you are likely to be sitting down, catching up and watching festive movies, so you need to ensure that you can accommodate the extra family members in the living room.
