What’s your current role at Certa?
I’m the Head of Commercial Office & Sales Enablement, based in the Portlaoise office.
What does a typical day look like for you?
There is so much variety to my job, its hard to describe a particular day. IÂ manage a team responsible for driving effectiveness and efficiency across all sales channels.Â
I also partner with cross functional teams to drive process efficiency and improve the overall customers experience. My role also provides administrative support to the sales teams, as well as customer support ranging from product inquiries to pricing and everything in between.Â
It is a demanding but extremely rewarding position.
What did you do before joining the business?
I was in college before joining Certa. I loved student life, but I really liked the job when I joined the company and I’ve never looked back since!Â
Why did you join / what attracted you to the business?
Certa a local business and many people from my locality, including my sister and aunty work here. Â It can feel like a very large family at times with deep connections and comradery, integral to every day life.
How long are you with Certa?
I’m with the business now 10 years having worked my way up to a management role.
What do you like best about your role and the company?
The best thing about the company is the support they give in terms of personal and professional development.Â
